How NDIS plans work

Your NDIS plan sets out your goals and the funding you have for supports. Therapy like ours usually comes from the Capacity Building part of your plan. How your plan is managed affects which providers you can use.

  • Self-managed

You (or someone you trust) manage the funding. You pay providers and claim from the NDIS. You can use any provider, registered or not.

  • Plan-managed

A plan manager pays providers for you and keeps track of your budget. You can use registered and unregistered providers.

  • NDIA-managed

The NDIA pays providers directly. You can only use NDIS registered providers, for the supports they are registered to deliver.

We are not NDIS registered for behaviour support, so it's available only to self-managed and plan-managed participants.
